  We booked Ye Old Sun Inn for a family Christmas get together for 6. We have eaten here twice before and this visit was just as good if not better than the previous visits.
  The service is excellent and friendly. The selection of beers and drinks is good and the food is really well cooked, great flavours and a good selection for all palettes. Four of us had the Christmas menu which included steaks as well fish and turkey. Speaking personally the steak was some of the best I've had in a long time. Starters and desert were equally yummy.
  One of the vegetarian options on the main menu is Cauliflower soufflé which was lovely too. I would highly recommend Ye Old Sun Inn!!

  Always a good stop on a cycle. Great selection of beers. Have ate in the restaurant before, very nice.
  The new beer garden and pizza oven have added to its pulling power.

  We rang in advance to let them know there would be two vegans in our group and they couldn't have been more accommodating - arrived to find the chefs had written up a special vegan menu with multiple newly created options to choose from for each course, all of which were absolutely wonderful. Even little things like remembering to bring out oil alongside the butter with the bread for the vegans, and putting a candle/writing happy birthday on my dad's dessert which was lovely. The waiting staff were all extremely attentive and friendly, they had fab cocktails and an amazing selection of gin.
